Expansion of Holy Haram

King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Project Holy Haram Expansion.

Detailed subsurface exploration and geophysical investigation were carried out for the King Abdullah Project for the expansion of the Holy Haram in Makkah.

Eight geophysical techniques were carried out incudes seismic refraction micrometer, resistivity imaging, down hole seismic velocity survey, ground magnetic, electromagnetic frequency domain, ground penetrating radar (GPR) and borehole TV (Core Scanning).

All survey mentioned above designed in an integrative framework to obtain a comprehensive picture of subsurface condition.
